Cedar Psychiatry by Novmamind recently purchased by Numinus | The company I worked for was purchased by another company right as I was leaving, however I have heard they are keeping the local management (non-clinical team in place). If this is true, that the local operations team is still in place, then I recommend therapists not work for this company. Non-clinical managers made clinical decisions that negatively impacted clients, almost every employee was promised a job and then co-erced and manipluated into doing another job. Clinician well being was not taken into consideration. We were told many times that "we don't make money on therapists and the only solution it so increase volume". To do this the operations team filled the open/slots and cancellations with intakes, despite knowing therapists did not have the possibility for a follow-up appointment for two-three months - leaving the clients disappointed and the therapists exhasuted. |
