I am an applied behavioral scientist specializing in scientifically grounded digital product design that helps people live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
My academic training, combined with my diverse industry experiences across product development, design, healthcare, business, marketing, and consumer insights, give me a unique and powerful interdisciplinary vantage point upon which I help organizations innovate.
I was the first ever behavioral science hire at 23andMe. In that role, I have pioneered a behavioral science practice focused on helping our teams better understand the powerful levers of human motivation and how to use this science to create products that prevent & manage chronic disease.
I love leading cross-functional product and engineering teams to develop effective, engaging, and beautiful experiences, especially those relevant to health and equity. I have deep knowledge in the science of human behavior as well as the landscape of digital health, and I’m adept at synthesizing that information for broad audiences especially when called upon to provide actionable solutions to leadership. I use data and rigorous, mixed-methods research to drive business strategy and guide creative product development from ground zero.
I hold a B.A. from Stanford University in Psychology with a focus in Health & Development, and an M.S. from Stanford University in Community Health and Prevention Research. My masters’ thesis focused on community-based interventions to prevent physician burnout at work. Outside the office, I’m an avid hiker, baker, and am perfecting my Spanish in my free time!
