Who We Are
Therapists in Tech is a community that fosters inclusive, authentic connections, amplifies marginalized voices and supports mental health professionals in tech roles to promote their clinical values, mental health, and ability to advocate for patient-consumers.
Founded in 2020, we started with 100 thought-leaders from mental health and grew to 1000 + in a year.
In 2022, Therapists in Tech attained status as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. This was a HUGE accomplishment because we believe in a community that is owned and operated by its members. A 501(c)(3) status also allows us to accept donations and sponsorship from our digital mental health partners, which is helpful to further develop programs to support our community.
We currently have a supportive community of over 2,000 members!
Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
We believe a diverse, inclusive and equitable organization (or Alliance) is one where all members — regardless of gender, race, gender identity, ethnicity, national origin, age, sexual orientation, education, disability, veteran status or other dimension of diversity — feel valued and respected.
We are committed to a nondiscriminatory approach and to providing equal opportunity for participation and advancement in all of our community programs.
