We have a quarterly Provider Survey we send out and check in with our providers through our Provider Pods weekly and monthly to make sure we can support them.

We are still a small company but have DEIB imbedded in our DNA. Our co-founder is a woman from the Netherlands (of mixed heritage) and our Chief Clinical Officer is a Latina psychologist with expertise in working with underrepresented groups.

Do therapists have the opportunity for local/regional or company-wide in-person gatherings, sponsored by the company?

Not yet. We plan on starting this in Q2.

Do you collect ratings of employee satisfaction or company culture? If yes, can you share any data on the clinical/therapy team overall employee satisfaction?

Yes! We send an anonymous survey to all providers quarterly. In Feb '23, we had an average score of 9.15 to the question: "On a scale from 1-10, how likely are you to recommend manatee as a place to work?"

What else would draw therapists to this company over other healthcare or tech companies?

We see therapists and coaches as the engine of Manatee. We see providers as crucial in everything that we do, so we ask for feedback often and create opportunities for providers to work with other teams to share their experience and clinical expertise. We do not separate 1099 and W2 therapists but instead build opportunities for connection and collaboration. Therapists and coaches have said they are drawn to the creative and caring culture we have built, as well as our focus on creating a community between therapists and with therapists and other areas of our company.
