I would definitely refer and have. Coa is one of the few mental health companies with a clinical psychologist (PsyD) as a co-founder and also has a psychologist in an executive level position.
Coa is one of the few mental health companies with a clinical psychologist (PsyD) as a co-founder and also has a psychologist in an executive level position. Clinical integrity is woven through every aspect of the company from recruiting, onboarding, product engineering, content, and sales and marketing.
Coa is a growing startup that has navigated the pressure to grow while maintaining client confidentiality and clinical integrity as a top priority. It's impressive how well both their co-founders (a PsyD and a tech worker) have managed this balance. The product that they have built is something new and innovative, merging the lines of clinical integrity, quality care, therapist knowledge and expertise, with psycho-education, learning science, and consumer appeal. It's a wonderful place to grow, be creative, and learn.

At its current stage, the company is needing people with a clinical lens, but tech experience (sales, marketing, product, etc) unless you are in an instructor role. In this role, group/public speaking/presenting experience is needed, yet you also have to be comfortable being "the face" of the company/product. Further, in this role you should be prepared to be asked to do more than teach. Boundaries around your hours and capacity is imperative
The company's primary focus is actually not clinical care. Its main product are mental health-related classes. Though they elevate the voices and expertise of licensed-clinicians (their emotional fitness instructors). This is done through non-clinical experiences (e.g., group class NOT group therapy). Previously they also offered personalized therapy matching for clients and therapist who were looking to find the right fit. This functioned as a marketplace for clients and providers. However, this offering was regularly deprioritized, and has since been completely put on pause. Unfortunately, this was done without transparency/clear communication to the clinicians within the community.
