I’m Shannon McFarlin, a licensed marriage and family therapist from Seattle, now based in Southern California. I’m ex-Talkspace where I was the 10th therapist and spent 5 rapid-growth years through funding rounds A-D in clinical leadership roles responsible for defining the clinician/patient platform experience, developing clinician training and development programs, establishing policy and protocol, and leading clinical quality. My pre-therapist career was two decades in tech product development and user experience design for multiple Seattle-based companies and I have enjoyed bringing the two worlds together as digital health takes off. I’m excited to serve on the leadership team here at Therapists in Tech and to collaborate with other clinicians in the tech space!
